what next...

Safe and sound in Utah - on my way down I stopped in Brigham City and talked with Aziele about her previous jobs. It was great talking with her - I learned a lot about different jobs I can do working as a social worker with kids. Something that kind of peaked my interest was working in a school for the deaf and blind children. Something for me to think about - I love social work because of the diversity. You can work with so many different populations - love it. Yay. I have been staying at Sam and Nikki's since. Sam and I tackled the weekend with putzing around the mall and some other stores. It's been weird not having to worry about homework or anything. On Saturday night, I got an unexpected phone call from Matt Francis. He had asked this girl to go to a symphony with him and she bailed for some stupid reason. He asked me to go instead - lucky me! He took me out to dinner and then headed to downtown Salt Lake for the symphony. It was amazing! The first half was Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto and the second half was some Ralphe Vaughn Williams. They featured a soloist for the concerto - James Ehnes who graduated from Julliard. Beautiful. I then treated him to dessert at Cold Stone - it was the least I could do. Although he got my ticket for free and paid half price for his, he did pay for my dinner. All in all it was a really fun night. That has been my life since school got out - I love not being in school right now. haha It's been so nice to be with Sam and Nikki. Yay. :)
Pictures: last day in the burg, I went to take some pics next to the beautiful temple. Next one is of me right before Francis came to pick me up.
